The University Teachers for Human Rights (Jaffna), Sri Lanka was coming out with Reports, Special Reports, Bulletins as well as Briefings. In the early days it had published detailed reports by contextualizing the human rights violations in a proper socio-political background. Special reports are more focused on specific issues, which needed detailed reporting. It stopped coming out with reports in 1994, and there after, began to issue Information Bulletins and Special Reports. Briefings were issued whenever it dealt with general issues pertaining to the war.
